Energy Bites
I first discovered these "energy" bites when I was nursing my daughter. I was looking for something to boost my milk supply, and these definitely worked!
These bites are loved by many! I'm always getting texts asking me for the recipe again and again-they're that good!!!
Ingredients:
- 1 cup Old Fashioned Oats (Gluten Free, if necessary)
- 1/2 cup Almond or Peanut Butter
- 1/2 cup Flaxseed Meal (I buy whole flaxseeds and meal them in my Blendtec)
- 1/4-1/3 cup Raw Honey
- 1/4 cup Enjoy Life Chocolate Chips
- 1 tsp Vanilla Extract
Directions:
- Combine all ingredients in order in a bowl and mix.
- Form into bite-sized balls. Tip: you may want to wet the tips of your fingers a bit-the mix can be sticky!
- Store in the fridge until ready to eat.
- Try not to eat them all in one sitting-very hard for my six-year-old!
